Deliver The Captives Ministries was founded by Pastor Kedrick Tembo. Our purpose is to simply follow the ways of Jesus while not ignoring the command that He gave in Mark 16:17:
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;”
The vision of Deliver the Captives is to bring Jesus to the lost, to see the captives set free and delivered by the power of the blood of Jesus, and to equip The Church to operate in deliverance for the end-time harvest.
“Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;” 2 Corinthians 1:10
God birthed Deliver the Captives Ministries in the heart of Kedrick when he was at Bethel World Outreach Church, under Senior Pastor Bishop Darlingston Johnson and Deliverance Pastor Moussa Touré’. Pastor Moussa’s passion for prayer and deliverance impacted Kedrick profoundly and has served as the foundation for the ministry. Deliver The Captives believes that deliverance is essential to the walk and journey with Christ. Jesus is still delivering people today. Do you need deliverance? Pastor Kedrick and Cassandra Tembo
Pastor Kedrick Tembo is a native of Zambia and came to the US over twenty years ago. Within one month of arriving in the US he had an encounter with God that changed his life, and he made Jesus his Lord and Savior. He now resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife, Cassandra. Pastor Kedrick Tembo has three children: Rachel, Steven, and Kennedy, and three grandchildren.
Pastor Kedrick is ordained by Church Growth International of the Americas (CGIA) and serves on staff at the Evangel World Prayer Center in Louisville, KY, where Dr. Bob Rodgers is his Senior Pastor. Kedrick leads five ministries, serving as Executive Director for The Lord’s Kitchen feeding program, Hope Housing for homeless veterans, Corner of Hope Recovery Center, E-Counseling and Deliverance, and he pastors Corner of Hope Church. He is also the Director of Deliverance for CGIA.
Pastor Kedrick’s desire to see people set free from any encumbrance leads him to counsel and pray with people until the power of God brings total deliverance. He loves to train and develop others in this ministry to see the Kingdom of God restored in the life of God’s people. As a student of the Word of God, he enjoys sharing fresh revelation with others. Kedrick Tembo takes the mantle of deliverance, his love for people, and passion for God’s Kingdom beyond the walls of the church.
